West Virginia Employer Quality Management: Infection Preventionist: Case Management RN in Williamson, West Virginia
_Requirements: _Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelors of Nursing Degree, degree in Health Services Administration preferred. Current WV RN Licensure, or current multi-state licensure within state of practice. Current BLS certification. _Experience: Three (3) or more years of previous clinical experience in an acute care setting required. Specialized training in Infection Prevention and Control within last five (5) years; evidence of pertinent continuing education minimally every two (2) years preferred. Five (5) or more years of experience in Quality Management preferred. _Job Summary: Quality Management Director: Responsible for planning and implementing the performance improvement program to meet the needs of the hospital. Provides education to medical staff, hospital staff and Governing Body. Facilitates performance improvement activities and CQI activities throughout the hospital. Infection Preventionist: Responsibilities include the identification, investigation, reporting, prevention and control of infections and communicable diseases within the organization, including both healthcare associated infections and community-acquired infections. Case Management RN: Responsible for the coordination and implementation of case management strategies pursuant to the Case Management Plan.
