MOVE Staffing is looking to hire a Mechanical Engineer! This position is full-time with a flexible work schedule, competitive salary, AND an extensive vacation and benefits package! We accept applications Monday -- Friday from 9:00 a.m. -- 4:00 p.m. and by appointment if necessary. You will need two forms of government issued ID & a resume is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, conceptualize, and create mechanical designs for new products
• Develop testing processes, and perform testing and validation of new designs
• Generate working prototypes for beta testing and customer demonstration
• Perform engineering calculations to support design work
• Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using computer software
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractors
• Perform detailed documentation to track project development and design process
• Ensure project timeline is met and project stays within budget
• Develop, coordinate, and monitor all aspects of the product
• Suggest methods to improve operational efficiency
• Work cross-functionally with different teams and organizations

Qualifications:

• 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering required (would consider a 4-year degree in Engineering Design)
• Prefer minimum of 2 years of experience, but not required
• Will consider recent or upcoming graduate
• Experience in Auto-Cad and 3D software as well as Pressure Vessels and Piping preferred
• Ability to read and understand designs and schematics
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
