Aerotek Wastewater Operator in Wilmington, Delaware
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Industrial Wastewater Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining wastewater treatment systems, ensuring compliance with environmental standards, and supporting our mission of sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain industrial wastewater treatment equipment and systems.
Monitor and adjust treatment processes to ensure optimal performance.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment.
Collect and analyze water samples to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Maintain accurate records of treatment processes and results.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with treatment systems.
Collaborate with team members to improve treatment processes and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial wastewater treatment or a related field.
Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and equipment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and record-keeping skills.
Familiarity with environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
