Job Title: CNC Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined individual to join our team as a CNC Machine Operator. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience and advance in the field of industrial manufacturing. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will assist in the machining of large metal parts for production, becoming proficient in operating a 4-axis horizontal mill.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC machines and measure tools for precision

  • Assist in the machining of large metal parts

  • Operate 4-axis horizontal mill

  • Change inserts, clean, and maintain work area around the machine

  • Adhere to production processes in a high-output environment, producing roughly 1,200 parts a month

  • Monitor and manage run cycle times which vary from 1 hour to 5 minutes

Essential Skills

  • 1-3 years of machining experience

  • Strong mechanical inclination

  • Proficiency with hand tools

  • Experience using calipers and micrometers

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in CNC machine operation

  • Knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes

  • Familiarity with CNC mills, Kitamura, and end mills

  • Experience in metalworking and machine technology
