This job is an outside position and requires you to work in all types of weather conditions, must be 100% comfortable with this. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties may be assigned) Pull orders for production using pallet jacks, stand-up/sit-down forklifts. The outbound of parts required by the production or by the spare parts service. Perform inventory procedures according to cycle count instructions. Returns to the inventory of the unused material. Performs other tasks as assigned. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: CIT: establish standards and procedures for continuous improvement and ISO certification. Maintain the currency with respect to technical and supervisory skills by attending training classes, special technical and administration courses; seminars, exhibits and trade shows are needed. Cross-train in other material control functions/departments. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Knowledge and experience operating sit-down/stand-up forklift operation and pallet jack. Ability to work in a team or solo environment. Pride in work performance. Certified to operate power industrial trucks per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.178 prior to operation preferred. Have to be willing to work in all weather conditions. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Knowledge in using forklifts. Thorough, self-sufficient, able to take initiatives. Basic understanding of data entry.
