Northwest Alabama Mental Health Center LPN - Marion County - Full Time in Winfield, Alabama
Provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care services to adult mentally ill clients. Participate in the implementation, evaluation, and modification of the clients service plan. Administer the clients medication program as prescribed based on Center policies and procedures. Assist in the monitoring of vital signs, blood sugar, and other lab results. Assist in the admission and discharge processes. Structure and monitor the personal and leisure activities of the client. Provide family support and education. Provide for clients and staff safety.
Requirements:
- Must possess a current/valid LPN nursing license in the State of Alabama.
- Will accept a new graduate. Experience is preferred but not required.
- Current/valid non-expired driver's license.
- Will drive on behalf of the center. To meet driving qualifications, you must be minimum age of 21, and have an insurable driving record.
- Knowledge of computer skills, including computer software programs such as word processing.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p with a one-hour lunch break or Monday-Friday, 8a-4p without a lunch break.
Pay Rate: Will be discussed in the interview.
Location: Marion County, Alabama - This is NOT a remote position.
