About the role SIGN-ON BONUS - \$5,000 (1/3 after 1 month, 1/3 after 6 months, 1/3 after 1 year) Position Description: The CDL Driver will perform duties associated with transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste between Covanta facilities and the client\'s sites. Drives will have the opportunity to operate a variety of equipment including vacuum tankers, vacuum trucks, vans, and flat beds. Responsibilities: Operate equipment in a safe manner following DOT regulations and company policies and regulations. Drive commercial vehicles to pick up and transport waste to a designated location safely while meeting scheduled appointments and following all DOT regulations. Ensure placarding of the vehicle meets DOT regulations. Maintain paperwork including expense reports, timesheets, vehicle inspection reports, manifests, and job sheets. Inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water. Secure cargo prior to and during transit. Complete additional assigned duties.
