Job Description Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Support Specialist to join our Surgery division, focusing on Biosurgery and Infection Prevention. This critical role will involve developing a deep understanding of haemostasis and infection control to fully support and expand the UK business. Collaborating with healthcare professionals, you will help advance medical practices, ensuring the best outcomes for patients and promoting the adoption of our innovative solutions. The role will focus on the South East England and Greater London territory with some national travel.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of haemostasis, sealants, and infection prevention, with a focus on ChloraPrep, to drive education and engagement with healthcare providers.

  • Deliver clinical training and implementation support, including pre-evaluation, practice introduction, and post-implementation follow-up, ensuring standardised care protocols are adopted.

  • Monitor and evaluate infection prevention practices within accounts, using agreed metrics to track performance and improve outcomes.

  • Provide clinician training through our multi-level educational platform to create account champions and infection prevention advocates.

  • Support UK reference centres and proctor networks, facilitating peer-to-peer engagement through events such as proctor days, round table meetings, and masterclasses.

  • Collaborate with sales teams to enhance the utilisation and acceptance of products in clinical environments.

About you:

  • A degree-level nursing qualification or Operating Department Practice qualification is preferred, with proven success in field-based clinical support within the medical device industry.

  • Clinical experience in Operating Theatres, Intensive Care, or similar settings.

  • Proven ability to develop strong technical knowledge of theatre-based products, related procedures, and indications.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively engage with internal and external partners at all levels.

  • Flexibility and willingness to travel extensively.
