Job Description Assists or directs the consumer banking staff (4-8 reports) within a branch or multiple branches. Provides leadership and functions as a working lead for consumer banker staff and assists with their training and development. Support clients' banking needs by completing a variety of teller transactions in compliance with all applicable standards, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. May guide and direct teller operations and responsible for implementing policies and procedures in relation to customer operations. May supervise balancing and summarizing daily business and cash. Supervises all record keeping aspects of the new accounts functions. Coordinates and assists with teller and new account training. Ensures compliance with security practices and monitors security equipment. Plans, organizes and assigns the work flow of the consumer banker staff. Exercises authority as defined to make exceptions to policy and procedures. Monitors service quality levels and coaches staff to achieve appropriate levels. Responsible to handle more complex customer complaints and questions. QUALIFICATIONS Combination of education and experience generally acquired through the attainment of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 3 years of financial services experience with 1 year of supervisory experience desirable. Experience in sales or promotion of products and services is preferred. Must be eligible to hold NMLS credentials; must complete all required training in order to apply for NMLS credentials. A bonus and/or incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, time-off, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
