Kelly Services Quality Control Inspector in Winsted, Connecticut
Kelly® Professional & Industrial is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to work at a premier company in Winsted, CT. Sound like something you’re interested in? We’ll be here every step of the way to help you through the process because we think job searching needs an upgrade (and a sidekick).
Pay Rate:$19.58/hr
Hours: Monday-Friday 3:30 pm to 11 p.m.
No Experience needed, we train and certify!
What’s a typical day as a Quality Control Inspector? You’ll be:
• Performing visual inspections, utilizing magnifiers, microscopes, etc.
• Ensuring inspection equipment is calibrated before use
• Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of inspection stations
• Reporting inspection results clearly and accurately
• Identifying and segregating nonconforming products and initiating Discrepancy Reports
• Complying with stamp control procedures
• Ensuring lot and sample traceability
• Reading new and revised specifications when mandated
• Reporting to the Quality Supervisor
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have previous experience in the manufacturing process
• Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Are able to walk, push, carry, or lift up to a maximum of 50 lbs occasionally
• Can stand for extended periods
• Do not have any visual color deficiency
