Piedmont Federal Savings Bank Client Care Specialist ( Lead Teller) in Winston Salem, North Carolina
NOTE: Position is located in Winston Salem, NC. Prefer that applicants live within a 40 mile radius of Winston Salem, NC. Good credit history a must. Primary Accountabilities (High Essential):
- Provide exceptional customer service both internally and externally and serve as a role model to the staff.
- Post customer transactions and other transactions relating to customer service (account maintenance updating customer records; buying/selling cash; official checks; date-of-death balance calculations; mail/night deposit listing-posting-verification; general office paperwork, etc.)
- Accurately maintain a cash drawer to serve customers with cash transactions.
- Acquire and maintain knowledge of products/services to efficiently and accurately assist customers with opening new accounts and effectively cross-sell products/services to meet customer needs.
- Cultivate, develop and retain current customers and acquire new ones by promoting the Bank's products and services.
- Assist staff in locating cash discrepancies, handling unusual/difficult situations, and conducting audit activities to ensure accuracy of transactions, resulting in customer confidence in the Bank.
- Oversee basic branch operations in absence of manager: override exception transactions, review and sign checks, participate in branch audits, and assist with non-routine transactions
- Serve as the vault custodian, responsible for managing branch cash supply and replenishing staff cash supply as needed;
- Regularly attend work at Piedmont's place of business during regular business hours.
Primary Accountabilities (Low Essential): Educational Requirements: High School diploma or related work experience.
- Understand and comply with applicable regulatory and legislative requirements, and PFSB policies and procedures.
- Assist branch lending personnel with loan transactions (closing documents and posting)
- Provide on-the-job training for branch staff (new and existing) to ensure adequate knowledge/understanding of products, policies/procedures, regulatory compliance, documentation, and cross training.

Related Experience: Two to three years of prior teller or lead teller experience. Qualifications:
