Position: Hydro Blasting Technician Classification: Temp Pay Rate:DOE Shift: 7AM - 3PM (may change) Location: Varies in the State of Florida
Summary: The Hydro Blast Technician will perform a wide range of physical activities that require strength and flexibility of whole body for handling, positioning, moving, and manipulating equipment and materials, emergency response, vacuum truck operations, waste disposal, site remediation and high-pressure water blasting.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate and set-up all necessary cleaning equipment such as high-pressure pumps, in service line hydro-blasting, and vacuum in accordance with operational and training and guidelines and safety procedures.
- Manually clean, install, fit repair valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets, and all other external and internal equipment on tanks.
- Assist in the inspection of equipment, hoses, connections, pumps, and general work area prior to starting any job.

- Operate washer equipment for industrial cleaning and construction jobs.
Requirements:
- Hydro blasting or industrial pressure cleaning experience preferred.
- General labor experience is a plus.
- Must be able to travel for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work for extended periods of time.
- Ability to understand and follow specific procedures and directions.
- Ability to occasionally lift, move and handle up to 50lb hoses.
- Report to work on time. Attendance is mandatory.
