Job Description
Seeking a meticulous and dedicated Environmental Technician to perform tests and sampling of various environmental materials, including air, groundwater, and building materials, with a focus on safety and accuracy. The role involves operating field monitoring equipment, assisting with remediation system operations, and potentially participating in asbestos surveys and abatement projects. Successful candidates will transport samples to labs for analysis, tabulate data, and maintain equipment, while adhering to strict safety protocols.
Hard Skills
Performing building inspections for asbestos-containing materials
Testing surface coatings for lead paint in commercial/industrial settings
Performing mold inspections and sampling
Conducting standardized and complex field tests
Air monitoring and visual inspections during asbestos abatement
Calibration of field monitoring equipment
Inspection and sampling within industrial settings
Performing indoor air quality assessments
Maintaining quality standards on all projects

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Winter Park, Florida.
Work Environment
Field work at various properties
Sunday through Thursday, 3rd shift (overnight) 11pm - 7am
Opportunities for overtime
Handling of asbestos and other hazardous materials, paint sampling, monitoring and abatement
