Ethos Veterinary Health Internal Medicine Veterinary Technician, Mass Vet in Woburn, Massachusetts
Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital in Woburn, Massachusetts is looking to expand our Inpatient & Outpatient Care in our Internal Medicine department. If you enjoy caring for patients who need nursing care, this may be the role for you!
What You'll Do as a Treatment Technician:
Comprehensive Care: You'll be responsible for delivering top-notch care to a diverse range of hospitalized patients from multiple departments.
Advanced Technical Skills: From collecting samples to administering medications and calculating dosages, your expertise will be vital in ensuring our patients receive the best treatment possible.
Vital Monitoring & Assessments: Your keen attention to detail will help you perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and respond swiftly in critical situations.
Empathetic Communication: Your compassionate communication style will shine as you educate and update owners on their pet's condition and facilitate smooth patient discharges.
Schedule:
Four 9-hour shifts per week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and alternating Sunday/Thursday every other week
7AM-4PM
Compensation:
$22 - $30 pending skills assessment leveling
Even higher for VTS!
About You:
You are a confident, skilled, and experienced Veterinary Technician dedicated to outstanding client service and excellent patient care.

You must have a strong foundational understanding and can perform the basic responsibilities of a veterinary technician including (but not limited to):
Venipuncture
Placing IV Catheters
Drug Calculations
Administration of Medications (IV or other methods)
Taking Vitals
Gathering Medical History
