Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods over short distances. If you have experience in route driving and possess a valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class A), we encourage you to apply.
Duties:
Safely operate flatbeds
Transport goods and materials over localroutes
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Ensure cargo is secured properly during transport
Communicate with dispatchers and follow delivery schedules
Load and unload goods
Warehouse work/forklift experience
Knowledge of inventory control, PO, POD, and other related docs.
Requirements:
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class A) with a clean driving record
Proven experience as a truck driver or relevant position
Proven experience in warehouse work
Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles
Ability to operate different types of trucks including freight vehicles
Excellent communication skills and customer service-oriented
Ability to work independently and follow directions accurately
Preferred Skills:
Experience with route driving
Forklift Certified
