Aerotek CNC Mill Machinist in Woodinville, Washington

CNC Machinist, Monroe

$20-$45/ HR WEEKEND SHIFT, Full Time (1st or 3rd shift)

Description:

Load machines with appropriate material

Inspect product using appropriate measuring equipment

Record measurement results on inspection records

Replace used tools as necessary

General Job Functions Level II

Performs in-process inspections of Level I Operators.

Make offset adjustments up to .002.

Identify and change worn and broken tools efficiently

Troubleshoot minor issues that arise after tool changes and offset adjustments.

Provide detailed tie-in notes, address and avert issues

Ability to provide accurate descriptions of issues to higher-level machinist

Operate all machines within their Cell

Set up many of the common jobs within their Cell

Load programs into machines

Back programs up to “Machine Dump”

Interpret blueprints accurately to make necessary adjustments.

Active in Process Improvement.

General Job functions

Responsible for the setup, maintenance, and tear down of work areas, equipment and materials; keeps work area neat and tidy. Organizes such materials and equipment, data, and workflow to ensure job requirements are achieved.

Read, interpret, and adhere to work instructions, regulations, manuals, and quality procedures.

Properly operate, maintain, and store mechanical tools and equipment required to perform the job.

Report job status to the supervisor including any malfunctions, non-conformances, damaged equipment, or other obstacles to production.

Ensure the on-time completion of tasks and reviews work for quality and completeness.

Take into consideration and participates in activities that fulfill compliance requirements to the ISO (International Organization for Standardization) Quality Standards and the Quality Manual, as applicable.

Demonstrate clear and effective communication, both verbal and written. Prepare, maintain, and submit accurate paperwork as required, including job reports, timekeeping records, etc.

Adhere to all applicable environmental, safety, and health, and operations procedures and directives, including the proper use of personal protective equipment following manufacturer specifications, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and company guidelines.

Ensure and promote safe work practices and rectify job site hazards, including clean work areas.

Read, understand, and interpret the lockout/tag-out indicators in the work area.

Know, understand, and adhere to organizational policies and procedures; align with and represents the mission, vision, and core values.

Regularly report to work on time, maintain acceptable attendance requirements, and work overtime as required.

Perform other related tasks as assigned, some of which may become essential to the position.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described, including an internship in relevant trade.

Preferred Knowledge and Experience:

High School Diploma/GED or trade/technical certification

Experience working in manufacturing with trade terminology and nomenclature.

Experience reading blueprints and using precision measuring equipment

Possess and demonstrate a thorough understanding and a working knowledge of all phases of the job.
