Position Overview
Navistar's Product Support Center, located in Woodridge, IL., is seeking a Current Product Support Manager to join our team! As a Current Product Support Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the quality of our service information. You’ll be responsible for managing changes to existing technical service information to keep our customers up to date on the latest service solutions that will keep their fleets on the road!
Responsibilities
Develop and execute change management strategies for service information updates, enhancements, or modifications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, service solutions, service engineering, quality, and warranty
Assess the impact of change on existing service information
Leverage your knowledge of technical procedures to guide service information changes effectively
Collaboration with Product Teams
Work closely with product managers, engineers, and developers
Communicate service-related updates and changes to internal stakeholders
Align service information with product enhancements
Communicate with customers about new products, services, or any issues related to existing ones
Address complaints efficiently and effectively
Monitor product quality and rectify any potential issues promptly
Conduct research to identify new technologies that could enhance our products or services
Implement strategies to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty over time
Explore customer feedback and market trends to drive product improvements
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
At least 6 years of project/program management experience
1 year lead experience
OR
Master’s degree
At least 4 years of project/program management experience
1 year lead experience
OR
At least 8 years of project/program management experience
1 year lead experience
Additional Requirements
- Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Desired Skills
Experience with medium to heavy duty trucks, Class 6 thru 8 highly desired
Strong technical written communication skills
Past experience communicating directly with customers on their service needs
Experience working cross functionally with engineering, product development and product managers highly preferred
Strong, pro-acitve, change management experience highly desired
