Brief summary of purpose :
Applying accounting and business knowledge, supports the Treasury Accounting team by:
Reviewing daily banking activity to meet accounting policies and Model Audit Rule Controls,
Check deposit scanning and other Treasury tasks.
Completion of monthly basic journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations
Responsibilities
Primary Job Responsibilities
Perform daily bank statement review. This includes cash balance review and reconciling support to bank activity.
Work with Treasury customers throughout the company to share appropriate information.
Support Treasury team in positive pay fraud protection check decisioning.
Monitor cash management mailbox for bank communications and reports.
Perform basic general ledger account reconciliations with accuracy.
Perform basic treasury and revenue journal entries and post in Oracle.
Support remote deposit check scanning as needed.
Provide Oracle AR receipts entry support as needed.
Addresses internal audit processes. Operates within an environment of strong internal controls
Qualifications
Education:
Must have taken accounting classes. Associate degree required. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business preferred
Experience:
Has studied accounting or business.
Microsoft Office proficiency
Resources used in performing role:
Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Oracle Fusion Financials, Blackline
