Description
We are looking for a meticulous Accounts Payable Clerk to become a part of our team in the construction and contractor industry. Based in Worcester, Pennsylvania, you will be working on-site, focusing on data entry and invoice processing tasks. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately entering a high volume of invoices daily
• Reviewing statements to identify missing invoices and liaising with vendors to obtain necessary information
• Maintaining accurate records of customer credits and processing credit applications
• Monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate actions for delinquent payments
• Utilizing Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word to perform job functions
• Balancing multiple tasks simultaneously to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner
• Communicating effectively in written and verbal forms to ensure clear and efficient information exchange
• Not aspiring to be an Accountant or Accounting Manager, focusing instead on the true Data Entry Role.
Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word is essential
• Familiarity with basic accounting principles
• Excellent data entry skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
• Prior experience in a similar role is beneficial, but not mandatory
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Detail-oriented and ability to handle high volume of invoices
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve discrepancies
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
