Eaton Corporation Mechanical Maintenance Engineer in Worksop, United Kingdom

What you’ll do:

As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be part of a multi-skilled team with the responsibility for preventative and reactive maintenance of all on site equipment. Involved in the installation and commissioning of new machinery. You will also be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment within a planned maintenance scheme to meet customer requirements and drive performance to achieve or exceed financial plans and strategic goals. Must be able to adhere to company health and safety policies to achieve Eaton's Zero Incident Safety Culture.

"Main duties will include: Ensure safe and efficient operation of mechanical equipment. Following LOTO and verification procedures.

Carrying out planned Maintenance in accordance with the Scheme of Maintenance for the factory.

Communicate problems/ possible improvements to equipment/ processes

Machinery and equipment you will be working with include injection mould machines, high speed automated assembly machines, 6 axis robot systems, vision picking systems, electrical test machines and power presses.

The successful candidate will have broad knowledge relevant to mechanical manufacturing machinery processes.

Have a knowledge of lean manufacturing and be actively involved in continuous improvement events.

You will be a great communicator, be able to use your own initiative and be able to organise/prioritise your own work.

This is a fast-paced environment, so you will have the ability to remain calm under pressure and be able to show engagement in Eaton’s Values & Philosophies.

This is a full-time position, working a 39-hour week on a three-shift system (days, nights and afters). "

Qualifications:

ONC Mechanical or equivalent

Mechanical/Maintenance Engineering Apprenticeship

Skills:

Competent in mechanical practices

Working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics

Computer literate

Desired:

Electrical knowledge

18th edition,

PLC knowledge

Injection Moulding and Power Press experience

A working knowledge of CMMS"
