What You Will Do:
Responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance of control systems, workstations, mechanical, and/or electrical equipment throughout the plant
Communicate status, manage expectations, and resolve issues to ensure top-quality customer service
Develop a strategy for PLC automation support for the location, which includes providing training and technical mentoring for other team members
Maintain the integrity of the Programmable Logic Control (PLC) automation servers and processors
Troubleshoot and modify Ladder Logic programs on Allen Bradley processors using RS Logix 500 and 5000 software
Understand the strategy for the Process Control Network operating production locations and be accountable for the implementation of strategy at the local level
Accurately update maintenance, inventory, and repair logs
Lead others in maintenance or oversee certain programs, processes, or projects as needed
Provide troubleshooting and maintenance support for all assigned systems throughout the plant
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education:
- You have your High School Diploma/GED
What Skills You Need:
You have three (3) years of education and/or experience working with Industrial Technology/PLC automation
You have previous HMI graphical interface programming experience using Allen-Bradley FTVSE\FTVME
You have previous experience programming PLC Ladder Logic Power Flex Variable Frequency Drive (VFD)
You have previous electrical experience with voltages ranging from 24V to 480V 3 Phase
You have experience with AutoCAD Electrical or Visio for electrical drawing creation
You demonstrate integrity and promote a positive working environment by being an initiative-taker and willing to assist team members consistently
You can work independently as well as in a team environment
You are comfortable with technology and possess excellent computer skills including the use of Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), and are willing and able to learn other company-specific applications as required
You have good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
You uphold health and safety to the highest standard! You consistently help others and demonstrate adherence to safety protocols, policies, and procedures to ensure you and your colleagues go home safely every day
You understand that delivering to our customers on time keeps us viable and are willing and able to work rotating shifts and overtime hours, which can include nights and weekends during seasonal peaks to support production demand
What Makes You Stand Out:
Two-Year Technical or Associates Degree in Industrial Technology, Electrical, or a related field
Previous HMI programming experience with Allen Bradley FactoryTalk Studio
Knowledge and experience with electrical panels and troubleshooting
Working Knowledge of Sap Maintenance Reporting
Ability to read blueprints and schematics
Knowledge or experience with LEAN Manufacturing principles such as 5S, Continuous Improvement, and Standardized Work
General knowledge and/or experience with field and/or agriculture equipment (plows, tractors, forklifts, etc.)
