SierTeK Ltd. is seeking a Senior Project Program/Project Management SME to support an opportunity at Wright Patterson AFB.
POSITION OVERVIEW SECTION
Employee shall aid in research for the Human Effectiveness Directorate (RH), Air and Space Biosciences Division 711 HPW/RHB, Biomedical Impact of Flight Branch (RHBF). The Air and Space Biosciences Division is an international center for research and technology evaluation in hazard mitigation, public health, contingency operations, performance enhancement, human systems integration, and clinical aerospace medicine disciplines including aeromedical evacuation. The division's branches provide research and consultative capability for aeromedical, chemical, biological, and radiological health hazard needs, as well as research for the biomedical impact of flight. The research supports Air Force Medical Service research interests by creating high-performance, integrated systems for individualized, operations enhancing health readiness. The employee shall provide direct support to the Defense Health Program (DHP) Medical Human Performance (HP) Program, Product Line Lead and Lead Program Manager to include the R&D Support Programs personnel and laboratories that carryout the medical HP research mission. Contractor employee assistance under this Advisory and Assistance Services task order shall be for use by 711HPW at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
Essential Job Functions
Provide program management expertise to support day to day operations within the medical funded Human Performance Research portfolio. The employee shall apply acquisition and program management principles, and expertise to assist program and project accomplishment through the various AFRL project life cycle. The employee shall implement administrative, and 2 monitoring support tools as required to perform daily operations associated with establishment, execution, and assessment of medical R&D projects.
Have a signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) in place based on the potential access to confidential, proprietary, and/or sensitive information. The NDA shall be provided to the Government Program Manager by start of performance.
Logged into Air Force Teams during their work hours when practicable and display an accurate status indicator while logged in.
Collect, analyze and appraise acquisition data required to draw conclusions and work with the project/program managers to devise solutions to problems relating to improvement of acquisition effectiveness and compliance.
Participate and provide expertise in the assistance of development of strategic and tactical acquisition planning by assisting in establishing/recommending scope, cost, schedule and performance parameters necessary to successfully execute projects within the R&D portfolio.
Identify and document programmatic risks using expert judgment and historical data; maintain R&D portfolio risk database, implement approved actions and workarounds required to mitigate and minimize the impact of project risk.
Assist in the development of necessary contracting activities required to support project contract awards within the portfolio. This shall include assisting in preparing a statement of work and supporting documents for Request for Proposal release, supporting technical evaluations and en
