Boehringer Ingelheim Internship - Accounting (Tax Services Team) with English in Wrocław, Poland
THE POSITION

If taxes are in your area of interest, we can offer you a paid internship in the Tax Services team in an international environment. You can take the opportunity to gain an insight into tax processes for Poland and EMEA region and actively accompany them.
The start time of our 6 months long paid internship program (contract of mandate) as well as the working hours can be flexibly adjusted to your availability (full-time or part-time). We are meeting on-site in our office in Wrocław at least 3 days a week.
Tasks & responsibilities
Assist the tax team with the preparation of tax calculations and associated working papers for countries of EMEA region
Support tax team in the monthly closing activities
Perform tax research and technical analysis
Gather data as needed to respond to notices and audits
Conducts tax checks, i.e., review accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices
Develop tools and excel files to support the daily operations
About out future Intern
You should speak English language (min. B2) and have the willingness to learn on the job.
Additionally, we are looking for:
Students or graduates in the field of economics, administration, accounting, finance, or law
Proactivity with time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills with high level of reliability and confidentiality
Distinct empathy, team spirit and service-oriented mindset
Existing experience in a professional business environment, e.g., previous internships or relevant student work is a plus
Knowledge of MS Office (be expert in Excel is a plus)
