Boehringer Ingelheim Internship - HR Administration (Employee Central) Team with German in Wrocław, Poland

THE POSITION

Joining our company, you will gather an overview of the GBS-HR Organization with a particular focus on the tasks and responsibilities of the Employee Central (HR Administration) team supporting Austria. You will be qualified to independently contribute to the daily run-mode activities. As an intern, you will be able to support the Austrian Employee Central team on daily tasks by learning how to use different tools and systems, how to process various Employment Administration tasks.

The start time of our 6 months long paid internship program (contract of mandate) as well as the working hours can be flexibly adjusted to your availability (full-time or part-time). We are meeting on-site in our office in Wrocław at least 3 days a week.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Participating in trainings (according to training schedule) and workshops

  • Participating in team/country meetings

  • Support in projects, research and team engagement activities

  • Looking and support of implementation of process improvements

  • Handling New Hire activities, Employment Data Changes, Terminations for various Employee types i.e., regular Boehringer Employees, Contingent Worker, Assignees (including vendor management, PO creation)

  • Document management (e.g., contract preparation, changes on existing documents), including managing eFile

  • Preparing/checking employment related documents e.g., employment contract, application forms, employment data changes, checklists etc.

  • Processing H2R transactions in systems depending on team’s needs

  • Preparing and analyzing reports

  • Other HR related tasks

About our future Intern

You should speak German and English languages (both min. B1) and have the willingness to learn on the job.

Additionally, we are looking for:

  • Students or graduates interested in the field of HR Administration

  • Willingness to learn new skills and to take over the responsibility for the assigned tasks

  • Proactivity, good organization of the own work and the ability to prioritize

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills with high level of reliability and confidentiality

  • Empathy, team spirit and service-oriented mindset

  • Existing experience in a professional business environment, e.g. previous internships or relevant student work is a plus

  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel). Previous experience in operating on any HR systems will help you to get acquainted with our toolset (SAP, SuccessFactors, ServiceNow, OpenText, DocuSign) faster
