Boehringer Ingelheim Senior Data Protection & Contracting Specialist in Wrocław, Poland

Tasks and responsibilities

As a Senior Contracting and Data Protection Specialist you will be responsible for:

  • Legal Contracting advisory – helping Business Partners with legal questions and contract reviews related to various agreement types (e.g., NDAs, agreements with Healthcare Professionals), based on defined playbooks, risk parameters and SLAs;

  • Negotiation Support – cooperating with and supporting Business Partners and other internal stakeholders in the process of negotiation of contracts, incl. direct contact with external contract partners;

  • Legal Systems Advice – advising and training business partners on legal system usage such like wizards tools, CLM tools and e-signature solutions etc.;

  • Data Processing Agreements and EU Standard Contractual Clauses advisory – advising Business Partners from all European Countries on legal, technical and procedural questions related to DPAs and EU SCCs (incl. Technical and Organizational Measures) based on defined playbooks, risk parameters and defined SLAs;

  • Register of Processing Activities – aiding internal stakeholders in proper registration and assessment of personal data processing activities;

  • Cooperation with various internal networks as well as many different teams and stakeholders on contracting and other legal topics;

  • Cross functional collaboration with different BI stakeholders and different countries;

  • Executing and overseeing quality management routines;

  • Establishing process improvement routines;

  • Ensuring proper matter intake and tracking through provided intake systems.

About our future Employee

You should have excellent business and legal English skills and be open to learning. You should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in the contract law, commercial law or corporate law field (e.g. support to procurement processes), including the review, redlining, negotiation and advising on various contract types, preferably in the Legal Shared Service structures or in-house law departments/law firms. Knowledge of data protection area of expertise is a plus.

Additionally, we are looking for Candidates with:

  • Master’s degree in Law

  • Strong business partnering skills

  • Strong project management capabilities

  • Ability to prioritize and to effectively execute multiple tasks

  • High learning ability
