SFS Group USA, Inc 2nd Shift - Industrial Maintenance Technician in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania
SFS Group USA, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team in Exeter Township, PA. You will be a key member of the manufacturing team by focusing on preventative and necessary industrial maintenance to keep production running efficiently. We have openings for second shift for this position and are offering some flexibility with set shift hours.
This position offers a salary range of $23hr-$29/hr dependimg on experience.
Key Responsibilities
The tehcnician Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance.
Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation.
Dismantles machinery and removes/replaces defective parts.
Determines changes in requirements of parts by inspecting and measuring various instruments.
Maintains inventories of equipment parts and supplies by checking stock and placing orders.
Trains production workers on routine preventive maintenance.
Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Other duties as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate
High School Diploma or GED required
Vocational/Technical school training in Mechatronics, Electro-Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred
Technician applies mechanical, electrical and basic programming knowledge to effectively and efficiently troubleshoot manufacturing equipment
Effective oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated knowledge of safety regulations required
