Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Facilities Engineering, the Principal Facilities Engineer will assume direct responsibility for a spectrum of facility infrastructure requirements, including HVAC, electrical engineering, clean room operations, EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety), energy management, maintenance, and civil engineering. The primary focus of this role is to drive continuous improvement initiatives, spearhead new construction projects, and oversee expansions across our international facilities portfolio.

This pivotal position demands a seasoned professional with a comprehensive understanding of facility engineering principles and a proven track record of success in managing diverse infrastructure needs. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the future of our facilities, ensuring they align with industry best practices, regulatory standards, and organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a range of facility infrastructure needs, including HVAC, electrical engineering, clean room operations, EHS, energy management, maintenance, and civil engineering.

  • Lead initiatives for continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, safety, and sustainability.

  • Take charge of new construction projects and facility expansions, from conceptualization to execution, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and budgetary constraints.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of facility engineering initiatives.

  • Provide strategic guidance on facility design, layout optimization, and infrastructure upgrades.

  • Develop and implement robust maintenance programs to uphold the integrity and functionality of facility assets.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements to inform decision-making and drive innovation.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field); Professional Engineer (PE) designation preferred.

  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in facilities engineering, with a focus on HVAC, electrical systems, clean room operations, and related disciplines.

  • Demonstrated expertise in managing complex infrastructure projects, from conception to completion.

  • Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.

  • In-depth knowledge of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a meticulous attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in project management tools and software applications.

  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
