Position overview:
Accountant position will perform more complex accounting activities in accordinace with accounting principles and standards to control the organization's financial resources and ensure that it complies with all relevant regulations, laws and reporitng requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
Full responsibility of AP module in JDE
Timely and accurate preparations of all tax reportsand submission to tax department
Prepare and/or review any other reports to authorities (if required). Responsible for all accounts Payable and of each project and each client/supplier
Update daily journal entry into JDE
Ensure coding in accounting system is proper and in compliance with JDE & Regulation of local
Maintains the general ledgers and all related accounts with proper documentation and records of company transactions; prepare entries to the general and subsidiary ledgers to assure accuracy and compliance with the company's and established accounting principles; prepare trial balance
Daily controlling of closing balance, cancellation and correctness of booking transactions
Ensure closing information is correct and sufficient and check, verify and sign all Receipt and Payment Vouchers
What are we looking for?
Previousl relevan accounting experience
Computer literacy, particularly use Microsoft Word and Excel
Fluent in English oral and written
Familiar with Myanmar Accounting Standard
Experience in Tax regulations and reports
