Waste Connections Lead Administrative Process Advisor in Yellowhead County, Alberta
R360 Canada, an affiliate of Waste Connections, offers a variety of services to clients in the energy, environmental and industrial sectors. These services are delivered via our network of facilities, along with our specialized equipment and assets. We are equipped to process, recover, recycle and dispose of waste and other materials safely and cost-effectively for our customers.
We are currently looking for a Lead Administrative Process Advisor to be based out of our Edson office. Along with supporting the Edson area, there will be other locations this role will be supporting as well and will have to travel to those locations as required.
Job Purpose:
The Lead Administrative Process Advisor provides continuous facility administration support and improvement of business processes. The role works closely with finance and field operations to promote the alignment of business administration practices with the vision, mission, and values of R360 Canada.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
Support company vision, culture, and development of talent
Champion, sponsor, and guide administrative training
Investigate elevated issues related to the daily, weekly, and monthly administration processes
Responsible for sending out and reviewing monthly timelines
Support facility mangers with staffing level, hiring and finding adequate coverage for administrators.
Encourage communication and alignment within group and with business customers
Travel to field locations as required
Qualifications/Competencies:
The individual in this role will have:
Intermediate Excel skills
Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work under tight deadlines
Ability to reliably handle confidential information
Ability to travel as required
The following are considered assets in this role:
Certificate or diploma in business administration, accounting, or a related area. Equivalent experience will be considered.
Previous experience in an administrative lead role providing supervision to a team
