Emerson Senior Project Engineer in DAUT in Yongin-si, South Korea
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Act as a technical interface with customers, establishing professional relationships to ensure that the project requirements are fully defined and agreed upon.
Ensure that required prerequisites (e.g., design inputs, tools, documentation, deliverables, schedule, budget) are in place prior to commencing work.
Produce functional and concept technical design specifications and provide technical leadership, support, and expertise for a single discipline.
Ensure that the engineered solution meets project requirements in terms of functionality, standards, quality, and supporting documentation and implementation process at minimum cost, until project completion
Monitor and control assigned work scope against the project plan, ensure effective change control and identify risks/opportunities.
Proactively recommend potential quality and efficiency improvements
Share technical knowledge and provide guidance to operations and sales.
Actively contribute to the pre-engineering phase of a project
Support direct sales to define and estimate the engineering/technical scope of work.
Coordinate and interface with third-party vendors/systems and manage sub-contractors.
Support project commissioning & site service, if required

For This Role, You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering
A minimum of 5 years of PLC or other control system design, engineering & application experience in related industries such as process, marine, machine automation, etc. is preferred.
Good knowledge of valves, instruments, and controls is preferred.
Good interpersonal & communication skills
Good command of English both spoken and written
Willing to travel.
