SAIL at Ferncliff Manor, private, residential school for children with developmental disabilities, has an immediate job opportunity for a Security Officer. The Security Officer position is a hands-on role. Starting Hourly Rate $17.50 SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Monitor grounds/buildings, and main entrance to ensure only authorized personnel access buildings/grounds. Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms. Maintain a visitor log of all visitors/vendors/contractors. Issue passes once screened. Prevents unauthorized persons from entering the building. Answer phones and routes calls as appropriate. Implement emergency response activities as appropriate. Assist in the evacuation of the residents during fire drills or other emergencies. Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency personnel as required
