The Senior Strategic Marketing Manager (EMEA) works closely with Mammotome’s European leadership team, Global strategic marketing, Executive leadership team and will play a lead role in charting the long-term growth, transformation and portfolio development of the Mammotome business in the EMEA region.

This position will help further Mammotome’s growth trajectory, with responsibility for assessing market opportunities that drive organic growth within direct and indirect markets as well as ownership of special high-priority projects and strategic planning.

The Senior Strategic Marketing Manager (EMEA) will focus on the upstream global product management and innovation.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Model and present key findings to Mammotome/Danaher senior leaders at the platform and corporate levels to drive the annual strategic planning process including the analysis and decisions pertaining to market opportunity, growth vectors, payer and reimbursement mechanisms

  • Identify and define key initiatives and investments needed to stay ahead of the competition and maintain Mammotome’s market leadership.

  • Manage the business development funnel, including prioritizing potential targets, monitoring target performance, and maintaining relationships with strategic partners.

  • Establishes open innovation and/or strategic partnerships for access to new technologies or markets related to company strategy.

  • Conducts ongoing analysis of both, new and existing market segments to develop a strong understanding of key competitive market landscapes (industry trends, share, competitor strategies, etc.) inclusive of partnering with external market research firms to conduct Voice of Customer (VOC).

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in a related field (Engineering or Business).

  • A proven background with strategic framework tools, industry analysis, and/or financial modeling. Prior market modeling, NPI and new market analysis experience is highly desirable

  • Strong analytical skills, broad strategic thinker and strong team player (i.e. no job is too small or too large) with an exceptional work ethic and ability to challenge the status quo.

  • Executive presence and strong storytelling skills, with the ability to communicate and operate comfortably with senior executives and external stakeholders (acquisition targets, KOLs).

  • Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, market segmentation and competitive analysis tools with strong qualitative (VOC) and quantitative (analytical modeling) assessment skills and experience and the ability to interpret large amounts of information.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Familiarity with healthcare industry; experience in Diagnostics, Medical Device or Pharmaceuticals preferred

  • MBA or other advanced degree preferred with a focus on finance, marketing or strategy

  • Experience working in a matrix environment, with the ability to lead complex cross-functional or cross-country initiatives
