Salary: £36k to £39k depending on experience + potential bonus + other fantastic benefits including private medical and free Nespresso machine with capsules.

Position Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a Webmaster to join our team who will be responsible for planning and delivering both technical & commercial guidance to drive operations of the eCommerce B2C & B2B channels (Website & Mobile) by:

  • Ensuring eCommerce platforms across desktop, mobile and app deliver the best-in-class user experience to prospects and Nespresso members.

  • Acting as knowledge & matter expert, providing guidance & recommendations to commercial & marketing teams to deliver a seamless & consistent customer experience across all digital touch points.

  • Driving the execution of campaign operations, providing project support to all relevant stakeholders to ensure adherence to globally defined eMerchandising guidelines & optimization of the digital customer experience.

  • Being responsible for the overall eCommerce site and customer journey quality ensuring consistency across assigned touchpoints & timely execution of digital content. Supporting and guiding market's business & cross-functional teams to leverage ecommerce technologies by raising awareness on innovative tools & features.

  • Participating in the planning of the yearly digital activities on Nespresso eCommerce platforms in order to ensure that eCommerce, Customer & CRM roadmaps are taken into account within local ecommerce operation plan.

A day in the life of a Webmaster…

As a Webmaster you will:

  • Coordinate eCommerce operations in the UK & Ireland.

  • Ensure best-in-class user experience for eCommerce platforms.

  • Provide guidance and recommendations to commercial and marketing teams.

  • Drive campaign execution and project support for stakeholders.

  • Ensure consistency and timely execution of digital content.

  • Support cross-functional teams in leveraging eCommerce technologies.

  • Participate in yearly planning of eCommerce activities.

  • Monitor eCommerce performance and platform management.

  • Optimize user experience to drive conversion.

  • Plan, oversee and execute eMerchandising activities.

  • Working closely with Operations, govern day-to-day operations to ensure business continuity.

  • Translate UX and SEO requirements into technical specifications to build landing and campaign pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Track and optimise page load speed taking into account SEO and UX needs.

  • Ensure digital content is up-to-date and compliant.

  • Collaborate with global eCommerce teams.

  • Assess and optimize eCommerce channels for search, merchandising, personalization, brand content, and services.

What will make you successful?

To be successful in this role you will have strong web knowledge and experience in digital & ecommerce activities, including Content Management Systems, Personalisation & Targeting, eMerchandising, product lifecycle management. You will have excellent organisational / project management skills in a national commercial environment. You will also:

  • Experience working with HTML, CSS, Javascript (knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS an advantage).

  • Experience working with a broad range of traditional and headless content management systems (experience with Hybris and Drupal an advantave).

  • Advanced knowledge of digital media management & optimization.

  • Experience delivering web-ready marketing materials based on predefined specifications & creatives.

  • Proven track record in delivering end to end user experiences in a digital context.

  • Understanding of Google Analytics.

  • Working in an agile environment (Trello - Stand Up - Sprints) would be beneficial.
