General Summary
In collaboration with the physician, provides diagnosis and treatment of patients within the scope of practice as defined by all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, protocols, etc. and within the individual Advanced Practice Provider's (APP) particular clinical specialty area, licensure, and competency level.

About the Practice:
Full-time inpatient position at WellSpan York Hospital
Opportunity for an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work in our Cardiac Critical Care unit
13-hour days/evenings/nights with weekend coverage needed 6a-7p and 6p-7a
Cardiac Critical Care/OH experience or training preferred

York County is close enough to larger cities for commuting and day/weekend trips. It's within reasonable driving distance to Baltimore, Harrisburg, Lancaster, and Philadelphia.
As one of the oldest settled areas in Pennsylvania, York has plenty of historic sites. Highlights include the York Colonial Complex, the old York County Courthouse, and the homes of Revolutionary War figures like Gen. Horatio Gates.

Qualifications
Minimum Education:
Masters Degree For Nurse Practitioner. Required or
Bachelors Degree For Physician Assistant. Required
Masters Degree For Physician Assistant. Preferred
Work Experience:
- 1 year Relevant experience. Required
Licenses:
Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required or
National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants Upon Hire Required
Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
Neonatal Advanced Life Support Certification Upon Hire Required
Courses and Training:
For Nurse Practitioner - Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners. Upon Hire Required and
For Physician Assistant - Graduate of accredited physician assistant program. Upon Hire Required
