The role of BOM Production Control Planner is pivotal in ensuring the seamless auditing, modification, and upkeep of bills of material (BOMs). Collaborating closely with engineering design, manufacturing, and procurement teams, you will be responsible for orchestrating the structured release of Manufacturing BOMs (mBOMs) and their subsequent updates. Your duties encompass conducting meticulous data analysis, auditing mBOMs for accuracy, and expediting change orders to preserve the integrity of our mBOM database. Furthermore, you will meticulously review change documents such as ECO, ECN, ECP, RFC, RFV, etc., and maintain mBOM accuracy throughout the Product Lifecycle Management process. To be successful in this role, you need to proactively engage staff across departments to ensure the punctual and thorough completion of mBOMs and associated changes to existing mBOMs.
Typical core hours for this position are 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday, with every other Friday off as part of our 9/80 schedule. Please apply by Sept. 24 to be considered for this position. #LI-Remote
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Typically a high school diploma or GED and 6 years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience using MRP (Materials Requirements Planning) Systems
Experienced using PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) tools and processes, especially Windchill
Knowledgeable in using Microsoft Excel to interpret data
Meticulous attention to detail coupled with robust problem-solving experience
Effective professional written and oral communication and able to interacting with diverse stakeholders
May consider candidates who do not meet all the above requirements for a more junior role or additional experience for a more senior role
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor s degree with 2 years of hands-on experience in a Manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education and practical expertise
Experience using EPDM (Enterprise Product Data Management)
Familiarity with Oracle Workbench
Demonstrated experience upholding the precision and reliability of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and understanding of the financial implications of BOM modifications
Familiarity with change control protocols
Technical acumen in product structure and manufacturing processes
Experience in reviewing and analyzing system demand, particularly within Oracle platforms
Thorough understanding of product specifications
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $58300 - $99100
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
