Job Summary (Role in organization):
The position is critical in assisting Susquehanna Regional Transportation Authority in meeting our mission of mobility. This position serves customer service by assisting to motivate, coach, inspire, train and direct the customer service team on the best ways and approach to relate to customers as they attend to their needs.
Some of the Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Achieves the Authority's mission by making a positive impression of the organization by politely and professionally answering telephone calls from a queue system and by developing process improvement suggestions, addressing and listening to employee concerns, issues and ideas to help improve the effectiveness and job satisfaction of the department.
*Provides proper and constant direction to team members *to ensure that all customer inquiries are rightfully attended to on time and in the best way possible to give them satisfaction in accordance with appropriate guidelines. Uses experience to make good decisions.
*Provides assistance to team members *who are experiencing difficulties in their duties.
*Steps in and attends to customers *that are proving difficult to team members and attempts to resolve their complaints or issues.
Serves as the go-between for the organization and the customer service team to ensure consistent communication and settling of concerns that may arise in the course of the work.
*Contributes to the team by *assisting in training and mentoring new staff members.
Serves as a resource to the team to ensure that training is being adhered to as well as provide suggestions for new and refresher trainings.
