Assurant Lead IT QA Analysts in York, Pennsylvania
American Bankers Insurance Company of Florida (ABIC) dba Assurant, Inc. seeks Lead IT QA Analysts in York,PA.
Duties: Responsible for developing or assisting in the development of functional requirements, testing applications, developing test plans, editing and/or writing test cases and test scripts, and evaluating test results to determine compliance with test plans and established business processes. Interact with business development, system developers, end users, and all other groups involved in project development, testing, or test planning. Architect, design, and enhance the automated test framework. Estimate test tasks and lead test cycle. Lead testautomation initiatives. Mentor QA Analysts. Suggest and implement QA process improvements. Develop and execute automated tests. Document, track, and retest issues found during testing. Document and communicate test activities and results. Work closely with development staff to design automation hooks into main code base.Research, suggest, and implement tools to enhance test efficiency and effectiveness. Participate in cross-department collaboration. Deliver enhanced communication and decision-making. Build strong relationships. Leverage expertise to get decisions made and actions taken. Negotiate with multiple stakeholders each with different priorities. Participate in Daily Stand-up. Update backlog. Help estimate the delivery effort of each featureand ensure QA items are added to the backlog. Participate in user story creation/refinement. Maintain connectionswith the Scrum Team. Ensure the software is built to specification, clarifying ambiguity in requirements, and manage the software delivery to schedule. 40 hours/week. Must also have authority to work permanently in the U.S.
Special Skills: Requires a Bachelor's degree in ComputerScience, Computer Engineering or a related field plus 6 years of related experience. Requires 6 years of experience with end user support; 6 years of experience translating technical concepts into everyday language; 6 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues anddriving for resolution; 6 years of experience in Windows operating system; 6 years of experience in web browsers (Chrome and Internet Explorer or Edge); 6 years of experience in mobile and cloud-based technology; 6 years of experience in SQL; 6 years of experience in one or more major automation tool; 6 years of experience in the Software Development Lifecycle and agile concepts; 6 years of experience in programming concepts; and 6 yearsof experience in the mobile device industry. 100% Telecommuting permitted.
