[Responsibilities:]{.underline}

Supervise and oversee the day-to-day housekeeping and custodial activities, ensuring the proper maintenance and overall appearance of all county-owned buildings by the Custodial and Floor Maintenance staff. Participate and supervise outside custodial duties, such as, landscaping, grounds and snow removal. Responsible to train and coach employees; provide leadership; evaluation performance. Develop, schedule, and assign work schedules, monitor work to ensure compliance with policies, procedures and timely completion. Maintain inventory of cleaning and paper products and recommend selection of suitable custodial supplies. Communicate with outside vendors and other organizations to coordinate activities and obtain assistance.  Respond and assist to a variety of emergency or special custodial and clean up duties. Subject to 24-hour call-back/stand-by to perform emergency maintenance and repair after normal working hours on nights, weekends and holidays.

 

 

[Qualifications:]{.underline}

High School diploma or G.E.D. with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in facility housekeeping, along with supervisory experience. Possession of a valid Driver's License.
