Brief Description

Barilla Hrvatska D.o.o. is looking for a dynamic Finance & Administration Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be based in Zagreb and report directly to the Finance Manager Adriatic, playing a key part in the success of our Finance & Administration Department and also the overall business of Barilla in the Adriatic area.

As a Finance & Administration Professional, you will be instrumental in managing the planning and controlling functions for the Adriatic Region. You will support the Finance & Administration Manager of Adriatic area in order to allow fast decision making, by contributing to the consolidation of area performance by markets / products/ channels to guarantee sustainable profitability of the area, according to Barilla internal procedures and corporate policies. Moreover, you will support the local office administration and HR related needs with a high level of responsibility and confidentiality.

Key Accountabilities

  • Improving the impact and understanding of financial reporting on business performance.

  • Analyze month end financial position, investigate variances and make adjustments in line with global policy.

  • Execute operative Controlling activities and provide effective procedures or initiating change to ensure key operational, commercial or financial targets are delivered.

  • Drive and execute Quaterly and Yearly planning (budget) process.

  • Manage the monthly and ad hoc business reporting.

  • Oversee and perform operative activities related to the cost & credit management, accounting and treasury.

  • Support the tax, audit and accounting procedures and policies in Croatia.

  • Coordinate few Human Resources administrative activities in Croatia in coordination with Adriatic assistant .

    Qualifications

  • University Degree in Finance, Economics, Business administration. Master’s degree will be highly appreciated.

  • 2-5 years of working experience in relevant positions.

  • Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.

  • Good knowledge of SAP environment, especially FI (Finance) modules will be considered as an asset.

  • Great communication skills.

  • Analytical Thinking & Financial Acumen with in-depth understanding in Budget Management.

  • Results focus & Internal Customer Centricity.

  • Fluency in Croatian & English.
