Clinician/ Jail Liaison

This is a split position between in-office and jail services. Responsible for consultation services in both the Muskingum County and Zanesville City Jails which may include skill development, referral, case management, de-escalation, and advocacy for inmate needs. Responsible for direct and indirect clinical services in the office, including but not limited to, individual, marital, family and group counseling, case management, prevention, and consultation. Completes and submits all required documentation. Provides education and agency consultation along with emergency services as directed with-in the jail. Provide direct and indirect services to clients in the office. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS

· Able to exercise good analysis and judgment in discriminating among many alternatives.

· Flexibility, adaptability and tolerant of interruptions

· Knowledge and understanding of medical conditions and interrelationship with mental health condition.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE:

· Master's degree in Social Work or Master's in Education in Counseling from an accredited program required preferred; will consider Bachelor's degree with two years of experience

· Must possess and maintain valid Ohio license as a LSW, LISW, LPC or LPCC

· Experience preferred
