The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As an EHS Engineer (m/f/*) Environmental Water Soil for our plant in Zwijndrecht, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• You are part of the EHS Team and will support the site with the realization of its EHS objectives

• Initiate and support environmental improvement projectsSupport projects with permit applications and compliance checks

• Checking compliance with existing and new legislationManage sustainability data (e.g. carbon, water, energy) to monitor our alignment with our strategies and objectives

• Support other departments on site with your environmental expertise to enhance sustainable improvement

• Be a driving force in implementing a sustainability mindset through awareness initiatives and training sessions

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

• A B achelor or Master’s degree in Engineering with knowledge of Chemistry and Environmental aspects

• Fundamental experience in a similar position

• Fluent in Dutch and English

  Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include

• The Degree of Environmental Coordinator Level A is a plus

• A reliable organizational talent with high ethical values and strong communication skills

• A team player, able to work with a wide variety of people in different roles

• Strong technical and data evaluation skills.

• A problem-solver, looking for opportunities for continuous improvement
